In a suburb in the south-east of Melbourne, two tragedies occurred in two days after the death of another person.
Emergency services were called to a house on Henry St in Noble Park at around 5am on Saturday after reports of a man’s death.
This happened the day after another person was reported dead just 750 meters away.
Emergency services were called to Lesley Grove House in Noble Park at around 1.10am on Friday after reports of an assault.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, a 25-year-old man from Springvale, who was found on the property, died at the scene.
Later, a 30-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with murder.
Investigators believe that the men were acquaintances.
