The Dally M Awards 2022 have arrived and several pundits have revealed one of the toughest numbers in recent years.
The name of the first-time winner is expected to go down in the history books, with Dragons midfielder Ben Hunt the favorite to take home the top gong.
Hunt was top of the leaderboard with 19 points when voting was closed after round 12.

The St George Illawarra captain was ahead of Panthers lock Isao Yeo (17 points) and Sharks midfielder Nich Hines (16 points).
The 3-2-1 voting system during the regular season involves polling the players at the discretion of an independent referee – a former player or expert – assigned to each match.
Players who have been suspended lose three points and become ineligible if they serve a multi-week ban or are suspended twice.
The current recipient of the Dally M Medal is Manly defender Tom Trbajevic, and this year’s awards will be held at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
