Police are looking for information on the suspicious fire early in the morning of April 16th. Police answered the call just before 3am from Collins Road, finding that the house and car were on fire. Fire and rescue station 311 responded to the call and extinguished the fire. No one was in the house at the time, and no one was injured, but police said the fire was suspicious and asked witnesses or residents to help with the investigation. It is unknown at this time whether the fire was linked to last year’s series of suspicious house fires. Anyone with information is urged to contact Griffith Police 6969 4299 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000. Anonymous messages are available.
