The Dover Heights home of missing woman Melissa Caddick has been sold for an undisclosed amount as liquidators try to recover the funds she took from investors.
“Following a successful expression of interest campaign, we can confirm that the receivers have accepted an offer to sell the Dover Heights property,” said Jones Partners managing director of liquidators Bruce Gleeson.

The house sold three days before expressions of interest were due to close for the five-bedroom home on Wallangra Rd.
“The contracts were exchanged this afternoon with a settlement period of 12 weeks,” Mr Gleeson said.
Mr Gleeson said the value of the Dover Heights property would not be disclosed “until a settlement takes place”, but the liquidators were understood to have hoped to get $10 million for the house.

“We believe the sale price achieved is a strong result given the current market conditions and will add significantly to the pool of funds available to investors,” he said.
“We are very pleased with the results of the sales campaign and the interest shown by potential buyers.
“We are also continuing our efforts to progress the implementation of other properties of competition control, such as jewelery and designer goods, and will provide further information on such aspects very soon.”

Because of Caddick’s notoriety, the house attracted a lot of interest, with a $10,000 refundable deposit required just to enter the property for inspection in an attempt to keep the sticky beaks at bay.
The house sits on 390 square meters of land and has four bedrooms, a double garage, a swimming pool and views of the city skyline.
Caddick was last seen at the residence on the morning of November 12, 2020, just a day after her home was raided by ASIC agents and Federal Police officers.
Liquidators are trying to recover more than $23 million that Caddick misappropriated from clients, who included family and friends, between 2012 and 2019.
