Like many other mother-daughter duos, Kylie Davy and her daughter Veronica love to run together.

But they know their Saturday morning run isn’t what many would expect.

“Anyone can run with their daughter, we just do it a little differently,” Kylie said.

After Veronika was born, she was diagnosed with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy.

Her parents were initially told she would never walk, an assumption proven wrong when Veronica was five years old.

Today, Veronica uses a sports wheelchair that Kylie pushes on runs and walks.

Over the years, Veronica and her family have had ongoing health problems, including major surgery with a long recovery period.
