Hundreds arrested after anti-mobilization protests in Moscow


Hundreds of arrests were made in Moscow and hundreds more across Russia on September 21 during demonstrations against the mobilization of reserves announced by President Vladimir Putin. This video recorded by SOTA shows a heavy police presence during one of the protests on Arbat Street in the city center. Several violent clashes between police and protesters are shown. According to information on Moscow’s Arbat, published by OVD-Info, during the action on Wednesday, five participants were arrested. At least 536 people were arrested at various protest actions in Moscow, OVD-Info reports.
