Linius Technologies (LNU) has entered into a new agreement to provide its MatchVision sports solution to Australian professional leagues.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) is a live games and digital entertainment company that holds the exclusive marketing rights to Australia’s top-level professional domestic football competitions.
Collectively known as the “A-League”, they consist of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, Liberty A-League Women, A-League Youth and the E-League.
The initial rollout of the contract will see MatchVision roll out on APL’s KEEPUP.com.au website and mobile app in the December quarter.
It will include current and final season content from the men’s competition at zero cost to fans.
Brought to you in partnership with Swanbay and with Linius LVS at its core, MatchVision is a video experience designed to increase fan engagement through personalized video compilations.
This is the first deal that Linius has signed as part of its extended partnership agreement with Swanbay.
The company noted that future expansions will include content from the women’s competition and rollout to individual club websites.
“We saw 35 percent return visitors, and those visitors watched six times more videos!” This was stated by the chief executive officer of Linius, James Brennan.
“This success now brings new opportunities, increased deal momentum and the speed of new revenue across sports around the world.
“Together with our great partner Swanbay, we look forward to even more success from MatchVision in the near future.”
Deployment is expected to begin in December 2022 with an initial 12-month timeframe.
