Manly face a looming legal threat from Hassler, who was sacked last week after months of negotiations over whether he would be granted an extension to 2024.
The club declined to offer the legendary Sea Eagles player and coach a further 12 months on top of his existing 2023 deal and opted to move quickly to Seibold.
One of Hasler’s long-term confidants, performance guru Don Synge, took to social media on Monday night to announce he was leaving the club as the Sea Eagles prepare to begin a new era under Seibold.
Courageous officials have also been in contact with star defender Tom Trbojevic following Hassler’s sacking to ease his concerns about the club’s management.
Trbajevic called a meeting with his manager Paul Sutton the day after Hasler was sacked, with the agent saying the Dally M winner and his brother Jake were concerned the club was “falling apart” over the Hasler saga.
