Mr Yum, the company behind your favorite table order option, has just acquired MyGuestList. MyGuestList is Australia’s leading hotel customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing company.
Mr. Yum clearly intends to expand its capabilities and offer more flexibility for both eateries and restaurants. The CRM platform Sprout, a subsidiary of MyGuestlist, has been included in the acquisition.
Kim Theo, co-founder and CEO of Mr Yum, spoke about the acquisition. “It will accelerate the company’s mission to connect places with their guests in valuable and differentiated ways,” says Theo.
Theo also said the deal “is the development of a successful partnership between our two companies”.

Theo expects that the level of personalization of customers in their favorite restaurants will improve radically. According to Ms. Theo, consumers crave more individual restaurants, and this acquisition will provide more tools for hospitality operators. Ms. Theo expects that soon “you will walk in the door and the host will learn your name, your favorite table to sit at, pinot noir, which you like, and that you love spicy food.”
Andy Marcus, co-founder of MyGuestlist, expects a global expansion of Mr. Yum.
“Together we will be able to scale the solutions quickly. This will give the place a deeper and more complete picture of the customers, ”says Marcus. «[This] allow them to provide a wonderful and more meaningful hospitality experience. ”
Combining Mr. Hume’s services with MyGuestlist customer intelligence can offer an online service between eateries and restaurants. Snackers could have established profiles and benefits that new restaurants can seamlessly follow.
