Disability Sports Australia (DSA) would like to thank all stakeholders for their time last week regarding the threat of COVID-19 proliferation.

This is an ever-changing and unpredictable situation, and the health and well-being of our community are our main concerns. In addition, we want to do our best to support initiatives to slow the spread of this disease.

After detailed risk assessments and consultations conducted by the DSA, a decision was formally made postpone the multifunctional sports program Start Up Kidz.

We intend to postpone the program, not cancel it, because we believe that the benefits for children with disabilities will be significant. More information on this will be available soon.

Thank you for your support and understanding in making this decision. We look forward to working with you before transferring the program.

If you would like to further discuss this decision, contact DSA Director General Jenny Cole at jenni@sports.org.au or by phone 02 8736 1220.
