Homegrown boxing promoter No Limit is gearing up for his biggest move yet, heading to Las Vegas, the home of prizefighting, with his ringleader Tim Tzu in January.

The company is co-promoting the night along with the broadcast of heavyweight boxing.

No Limit and Tszyu travel to the United States to take the undisputed world title (WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA) from 32-year-old American Jermel Charles.

During the announcement marking the countdown to the fight, No Limit chief executive and former NRL forward George Rose spoke of the romance of the occasion.

“We’re 100 days away from seeing the son of a Hall of Fame legend fight on the same day, 28 years after his father won the first of many world titles in Las Vegas,” Rose said.

“It’s absolutely incredible.”

Tim Jiu, along with younger brother Nikita, speaks volumes for the position No Limit has quickly risen to since its humble beginnings in 2013.

Their pedigree is firmly enshrined in Australian boxing annals as the sons of former world champion Costa Tzu, now with Rose and colleagues supporting them.

Australia’s first boxing festival was held at No Limit on October 8 Super Saturday with 19 fights event in the country of Awabakal, where Nikita Tzu continued his undefeated streak with a main event win over hometown hero Darkan Dryden.

Ahead of the glitz and glamor of Vegas, Rose hopes to push the boundaries once again.

“It’s a very exciting time for us here at No Limit Boxing as well and it’s been one hell of a journey to get here,” he said.

“To know that we are now able to give fighters the opportunity to fight overseas, to run a co-promotion with PBC, who have been absolutely fantastic, is amazing and now the countdown is on until Tim becomes the undisputed world champion.”

UNDISPUTED, where Tim Tzu faces Charlo, in Las Vegas on January 29 (January 28 in Australia) 2023.
