Oneview Healthcare (ONE) has signed an agreement with BJC Health System to deploy the Oneview platform for the entire group, adding 2,441 extra beds to the existing program.

The agreement extends the Oneview-BJC partnership for another six years and represents a 20 percent increase in the number of contract beds and provides for the deployment of the Oneview platform in ten more BJC hospitals over the coming years.

Under this agreement, BJC will also move to the Oneview CXP Cloud Enterprise platform and transfer all existing deployments to Android hardware.

BJC and Oneview have enjoyed a successful partnership since 2016, and oneview’s solution is currently on approximately 950 beds in three hospitals.

Oneview CEO James Fitter said the pandemic has increased the importance of bedside technology to provide self-care, keep in touch with patients, families and doctors.

“The BJC Health System has a clear and innovative vision of how technology can support inpatient care in the future through a ‘Connected Patient Room’.”

In the 4th quarter of 2021, Oneview and BJC conducted a series of joint workshops with key stakeholders to assess the impact of the pandemic on inpatient treatment and to identify how bed technologies can support innovative care models.

The result of these workshops is a new strategy that will bring the Oneview platform to almost every inpatient bed in all BJC hospitals.

Oneview Healthcare rose 12.24 percent to $ 0.28 per share as of 11 p.m. AEST.
