Strong winds and rain flood Key West streets as Hurricane Jan approaches

Heavy rain and wind lashed Key West, Florida on Tuesday, September 27 as Hurricane Ian neared the peninsula. The National Hurricane Center warns that Yang could bring life-threatening storm surge, catastrophic winds and flooding to the peninsula. Evacuation orders were issued in several Florida counties. During a press briefing Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis urged residents in those areas to evacuate and provided additional information about resources available to them.
