Subaru BRZ – In a world that seems to be all about SUVs, it’s sometimes nice to ride a sports coupe. Last week we drove a Subaru BRZ.
Updated earlier this year, Subaru has managed to significantly improve what was already a great car.
The most important thing to note is how much fun it is to ride the BRZ.
Rear-wheel drive and near-perfect balance, as well as a revised suspension, wider rear track, lower center of gravity and new production tires mean a wheelchair-free ride.

The 2.4-liter petrol engine isn’t too powerful, but its more than enough to provide amazing interaction with the driver. 6-speed mechanics are fun, but I’ll take the automatic version, please, because it’s easy to operate and has all the safety features.
The redesigned layout that is inside continues to feel like a driver, and it’s a little bigger than before, which means more space for two people. Forget about the two rear seats.
Old school tools meet new technology, and everyone enjoys it simply and intuitively. Oddly enough, visibility around is good.
BRZ costs from $ 38,990 plus regular expenses.

More thoughts Subaru BRZ
Our editor Rob Fraser gave a comprehensive review when launching BRZ, and they can be found HERE
Other than that my thoughts are as follows.
- Everything in BRZ is a cool combination of old school and modernity.
- The new model is improved in many ways compared to the last model, and it was also good.
- The styles of the BRZ Coupe are very appealing
- The revised layout inside is also a significant update.
- Inside is more space, but still cramped for taller or larger residents.
- The two rear seats are useless, and it’s even hard to drop soft bags in there and get them out.
- The parking lots need a lot of space for the doors to open
- I’m glad the BRZ has a full-size spare, but it kills the boot space.
- Soft bags are suitable for travel
- It would be much more practical if it was a lift back design like the Stinger.
- You need an automatic version for all security features.
- BRZ is really fun to ride!
