The vegan activist called the policeman a “sexist” in an awkward conversation after he asked her to cover her chest during a public protest.

Tash Peterson, 28, of Western Australia, was at the Hay Street Mall in Perth on Sunday, holding a sign reading “Kangaroo shot and Joey killed to death for Nike shoes.”

The video on her Instagram page shows that she was dressed in a kangaroo jumpsuit, pulled up to expose her upper half.

The video shows Ms. Peterson being approached by three police officers who ask her to cover her pink-painted breasts.

“We just kindly ask you to put on a top,” said one employee, to which the activist replied: “I just stood and spoke.

“No, I’m not wearing a top,” she continues. “I do not support sexist demands.”

The officer says he does not consider what he is asking for a sexist request.

“Well, topless men go there all the time, and I don’t think three male policemen are behind him telling him to put on a top,” she says.

The officer then describes Ms. Peterson’s trick as disorderly behavior in public.

“How are these insulting, insulting or threatening statements or behavior?” Ms. Peterson asks, explaining how this mess is described in the legislation.

“So how do I violate section 74A of the law?”

The officer then looks at his phone before saying, “No problem.”

The activist posted footage of interaction with police officers in her profiles on social networks and told subscribers not to allow them to “push you”.

“Defend your rights and defend the rights of non-human animals!” she wrote.

Police are abusing their power by forbidding me to protest peacefully in a public place (I was standing in a public place near a Nike store) because someone was complaining (apparently that means it’s messy if someone is complaining), and according to these police officers , the average person is offended topless ”.

Ms. Peterson also posted footage of how a cardboard sign she was holding threw out of her hands a passerby passing by.

“Do you want to come and talk, or will you leave like an ap ** k,” she called to the man, who decided to keep going.

The protest follows Ms. Peterson fined $ 3,500 for two shirtless protestsincluding one in a luxury boutique in Perth, smeared, she claimed, with her own blood.

Peterson appeared in court for both protests, one near the Boatshed markets in Cotteslo in December 2020 and the other at the Louis Vuitton store in the Perth CBD last August, denying that her behavior was illegal or offensive.

Painting herself pink with bloodstains and waving signs, Ms. Peterson said Nike was responsible for “the Holocaust of these fragile creatures.”

The stunt lasted about eight minutes before security sent her away from the storefront. From there, she continued to shout her speech through the crowded crowd on the weekends.
