Taylor Swift says she’s “devastated” after becoming the first artist to reach the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
All songs from her latest album, Midnights, out on October 21st.
The previous record was held by American rapper Drake, with nine of the top 10 songs on the chart for a week in September 2021.
Responding tothe news, Swift tweeted: “10 out of 10 on the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I’m MOVING.”
Her first single from the album, Anti-Hero, went to number one and became her ninth career number one.
Also in the top 10 were Lavender Haze, Maroon, Snow On The Beach, Midnight Rain, Bejeweled, Question…?, You’re On Your Own, Kid, Karma and Vigilante S**t.
Swift also managed to chart every song on the deluxe edition of the 20-track album Midnights (3am Edition).
It comes after the songwriter also dominated the UK charts last week, with Midnights and Anti-Hero taking the top spots.
The electronic-style album became the fastest-selling album of the year, overtaking Harry Styles’ chart-topping Harry’s House, which previously held the title in 2022, according to the Official Charts Company.
After its release, Midnights achieved 204,000 sales on the chart in seven days, more than doubling Swift’s previous personal best of 90,300, which she achieved with her album 1989, released in 2014.
It claimed the biggest first-week sales for an album since Adele’s 30 was released last November and became the year’s best-selling album in its first week with 72.5 million streams over seven days.
Shortly after its release, Midnights also broke Spotify’s record for the most albums streamed in a day.
Following the announcement, Swift thanked her fans for “doing something amazing.”
