Age is the most read Victorian must-have in the country, over the past 12 months its audience has grown to 6.1 million readers.
Roy Morgan’s figures released Monday Age was a place for news readers as Victoria during the year dealt with rising coronavirus cases and other major events, including the Australian Open.

The number of digital readers increased by 26.9% in the 12 months to March 2022 and amounted to 5.3 million readers, which contributes Age maintain an advantage over competitor News Corp Herald Sun.. Figures released Monday by Roy Morgan show it is the second largest publication in the country with 6.1 million readers, up 1.6 percent year on year.
Total print for Age Monday to Friday fell 3.9% year on year, a smaller decline to a 7% drop in print for Herald Sun. Saturday century is the most read edition of the week, with 421,000 readers.
The top is more popular than that Australian (with an average readership of 5.1 million) and The Herald Sun, which has 4.7 million readers.
Age nursing publication Sydney Morning Herald is the country’s largest must-have with 8.4 million readers. Australian Financial Reviewowned by Nine Entertainment Co (owner of this must-have), the latest report grew 6.7 percent to 3.5 million readers.
Roy Morgan’s data show that the fastest growing newspaper is Carrie Stokes. Western Australianwhich over the past 12 months has grown by 19.4 percent to 4.6 million people.
This is the fourth round of figures to be published by new measurement provider Roy Morgan. The data covers all news brands and digital news websites and audiences on Apple News and Google News.
