“It was an absolutely horrible scene,” she told 2GB on Tuesday.
Genol’s strike team was set up to investigate the woman’s death, and police asked for information on Monday before the 20-year-old man surrendered to the Bankstown police station, where he was arrested.
A truck was soon found in nearby Greencree and confiscated for forensic examination.
The man was charged with murder, he refused bail and will appear in local Bankstown court on Tuesday.
