The man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly crashed into three parked cars with two children in the back seat of his car in northwest Sydney.
Emergency services responded to a car accident on Post Office Rd Street in Glenory on Monday around 7.40pm after reports that a BMW M5 crashed into three parked cars.
Traffic patrol officers stopped the 37-year-old driver and noticed two children aged three and eight in the back seat of the vehicle.
The Glenorie Rural Fire Brigade was notified of the accident with several vehicles immediately after 8pm and sent two teams to respond and assist the police and ambulance crews.
As a result of the accident, two people were injured and taken to hospital, the fire department said.

Police say the man tested positive during a roadside breath test.
He was then arrested and taken to the Castle Hill Police Station, where he underwent a secondary breath test and allegedly returned a testimony of 0.224 – well above the permitted limit of 0.05.
The man was issued a notice to appear in court for driving a car with high blood alcohol content, and his NSW driver’s license was suspended.
On June 30, he will appear in the local Parramat court.
