A Queensland teenager has been charged with animal cruelty after he allegedly ran his car over a kangaroo on the Gold Coast.
An 18-year-old from Reedy Creek is charged with one count each of animal cruelty and driving without due care and three counts of fraud.

Last Sunday, residents of Warangara discovered at least 10 dead kangaroos across the area.
The investigation revealed that the Nissan Patrol allegedly drove through San Fernando Drive, Harry Mills Drive and Pinnacle between September 8 and 10 with the intent to kill or seriously injure an animal.
