Two more bodies were pulled from the shrine in Iraq after the landslide: rescuers

Two bodies were recovered Monday from a shrine in Iraq’s Karbala province after a landslide caused it to partially collapse, bringing the total number of dead to seven, rescue services said.

Rescuers searched for two days after the shrine, which sits at the base of high bare rock walls, was partially buried when earthen ramparts collapsed due to moisture saturation, civil defense said.
