U.S. President Joe Biden said the May 14 massacre at a Buffalo supermarket was an act of “internal terrorism” and said white supremacy “will not have the last word” when addressing an audience in the city on Tuesday, May 17. Biden traveled to Buffalo, New York to visit the Tops supermarket, where 10 people were killed on Saturday, and to meet with the families of the victims, first aid services and community leaders. In a speech to the community, Biden said: “What has happened here is simple and clear: terrorism. Terrorism. Domestic terrorism.” to any other group – hatred, which through the media, politics, the Internet has radicalized angry, alienated, lost and isolated people in the false belief that they will be replaced by other people who are not like them. Biden called on Americans to “reject the lies” of the replacement theory, which reportedly inspired the attack.
