Brock Anderson, 25, and Alan Lapin, 27
Much has been said about the rain on your wedding day, but what about the power outage? What could have been a catastrophic misfortune turned out to be the highlight of the wedding of Brock Andersen and Alan Lapin. When they lost electricity during the reception for an hour and a half, people were talking outside and friends of the wedding couple were singing for them inside.
“The staff even came and giggled, watching them sing and dance only with themselves and without music. More often than not, it was an opportunity to talk to some people we couldn’t, ”Brock says.
In addition, the mandate of the mask unexpectedly came into force at 18:00, but there was a lot on the site that could be handed out to guests, and the couple had a perfect day.
When and where
The couple exchanged vows at a village ceremony at The Novotel Vines Resort on January 16 in front of 45 guests.

Dress
Brock wore a beautiful dress from Tuscany Bridal and changed into Pearls Bridal in Guilford.

Honeymoon
The couple headed to Melbourne, where Brock met Alan’s family, who were unable to attend the wedding.
