Wedding of the week: power outage did not dampen the mood at the couple’s wedding in Perth

What could have been a catastrophic misfortune turned out to be the highlight of the wedding of Brock Andersen and Alan Lapin. When they lost electricity during the reception for an hour and a half, people were talking outside and friends of the wedding couple were singing for them inside.

“The staff even came and giggled, watching them sing and dance only with themselves and without music. More often than not, it was an opportunity to talk to some people we couldn’t, ”Brock says.

The couple headed to Melbourne, where Brock met Alan’s family, who were unable to attend the wedding.
