Aerial footage showed extensive flooding in the center of Rochester, Victoria, as hundreds of homes were damaged and a man was found dead on Saturday, October 15. The footage, captured by Kale McHam, shows streets and buildings underwater in downtown Rochester. Victoria Police said the 71-year-old man was found in the front yard of his High Street property on Saturday morning. The woman was rescued from the property alive and well, the force added. Victorian Premier Dan Andrews said about 500 homes in the state were flooded. More damage is expected in communities near Rochester in the coming days, Andrews added.
